Solma Sagitari Fishing Boat, Never give up!
This is the story of Solma Sagitari Fishing Boat. Due to COVID-19, to keep on fishing in this challenging time, we appreciate the passion of our local Spanish clients’ enthusiasm. They did not lose the sailing spirit as they saw a bigger boat as the best option for their holiday this year. Juan and Ana Maria from a little town in Barcelona province kept an eye on our Beneteau Antares 760. Before the virus came, they decided to purchase while doing an upgrade from their smaller boat. They asked us to sell their old boat. A beautiful motorboat by SOLMA S.L. Solma was a Spanish manufacturer from Girona Province, no longer in business.
Carefully maintained by her owners, this lovely utility motorboat is perfect for weekend sailing and fishing.
The boat can carry a maximum of 6 people.
The current owner bought the boat in 2018 and made many upgrades, such as new curtains and Bimini, during the summer of 2019. The owners also fitted new upholstery in the cockpit and sailor seat. A new bed in the cabin and a wood basement of the bed. Varnishing of the interior and exterior wood and many more upgrades. In December 2019, anodes and antifouling were replaced when the boat came out of the water.
Reports of Bluefin tuna are being recorded off the coast of England and the Irish Sea. If you are interested in fishing for this unique creature and have information about numbers in the Mediterranean, please get in touch with us. Sustainable fishing stocks are fundamental to the future of our seas and planet. It’s taken ten years for Tuna stocks to recover, but now they are back in massive numbers off the coast of Devon and Cornwall. Sportfishing, where the catch is returned to the sea, is great for sustainability. A boost to tourism is expected in the UK, and stocks are hoped to increase in the med.
